How to set up Proxy on Firefox

How to setup CactusVPN proxy in order to work with Firefox.

  1. In Firefox browser go to the menu (1) and click on “Preferences” (2).

  2. Choose “Advanced” (3), then “Network” tab (4) and then click on “Settings” (5) button from the “Connection” area.

  3. Choose “Manual proxy configuration” (6).

    In the HTTP Proxy field (7) type the IP address of a CactusVPN server. In the Port (8) field type the port number supported by CactusVPN. You will find the available servers and supported ports in the package details in the client area.

    Click “OK” (9).

  4. The first time you’ll try to visit a website, a window will appear asking for an username and a password (10). Type your VPN username and password. Make sure you use your VPN username and password and NOT the client area credentials (What is the difference?).

    Click on “OK” (11).

That’s all. Now you can browse safely and anonymous.
