Great VPN. Allows the use of many different locations, for various uses. I never used the DNS. I do recommend it.

Quick set up

Well , thank you for the free test offer , it's the best way to evaluate a VPN . Cactus VPN is not bad at all , but need some improvements if you allow me. I encountered some discos, there is not enought servers , connection speed is good , and the price per year is too high is you compare it to a VPN provider who offer better prestations . I have been using various VPN providers over the last couple of years with mixed results and decided to research a new service. During my search I came across Cactus and was impressed that they offered a generous and totally free no ties trial - not just a watered down version, but the full service for both the VPN and Smart DNS Service. This speaks volumes to me, as Cactus are willing to stand by their product. I'm pretty computer savvy, but did have a few issues with the initial set up and opened a service ticket. Within in minutes, I had a response and assistance. It turned out that I needed to update my DD-WRT Router's Firmware, after which I was up and running. After several hours of extensive testing of both the VPN and DNS service, which BTW are the some of the quickest I've used, I decided to pull the trigger and subscribe to a monthly service. I think the outstanding customer service and a generous trial period made it a no brainer for me. They even helped me tweak stuff a bit :) The bottom line is: if you want a cost effective, efficient VPN/Smart DNS Service with outstanding customer service, then look no further, as Cactus fits the bill. Had a great experience with support today, problems connecting to sites after a win 10 upgrade, within minutes they had me up and running again. This is a company that puts customers first no run arounds such as I have experienced with Apple and Microsoft in the past. I will definitely be renewing my subscription this year

I have to say that I found Cactus VPN to be the best on the market and the fastest, even when using Open-VPN and watching movies. I have tried nearly all of the VPN services out there and this is honestly the best I have tried, and just recently they changed to no logs what so ever. I can watch all the sites I want without even using their great Smart-DSN. Cactus VPN is so easy to use and you have an application killer. It has a green task bar icon to let you know you are connected and has a friendly dashboard that puts you in control in an instant. Click on settings and you can change your protocols and ports. It has TCP and UDP and 4 ports to choose from. VPN protocols: SSTP OpenVPN L2TP and PPTP. I have had no connection problems and that depends a lot on your internet provider. I have found the service great and very helpful.They don't turn their backs on you until everything is fixed. On March the 25th on their facebook page they said this. "We have decided that not storing connection logs for our users is the way forward, so we are now a completely log free VPN Service! You are the best, and I have tried out 15 other VPN software.

Well, it has been good so far.

I tried EVERYTHING under the sun to get the results I needed for a very specific network issue I was having where I was located. CactusVPN solved every bit of that issues, instantly, and more easily than anything else could even attempt to do. I can not overstate how well this program works. If you are using something that isn't Cactus as we speak, YOU ARE WRONG! So simple to use, yet very customize-able. Do yourself a favor and give this a shot ASAP.

Very good and Hassle Free.

I am so glad I signed up with Cactus. Each time I have a problem, it is responded to straight away, and everything I don't understand is explained fairly simply through the tutorials. The result is being able to watch UK tv in Spain without any hitches. It's inexpensive and well administered, too.

I just started using it and it's alright. Amazon is slower, Dropbox is slow or inaccessible, and it did seem like my internet was slower, but that's possibly any VPN with my internet plan. Also, mobile disconnects you quite a bit, but reconnecting is quick and painless. I haven't noticed my data speed slowing either. I don't know much about proxie servers and some of my issues might be user error, so take this with a grain of salt I suppose. I'm keeping the service for now, because overall it seems pretty effective, especially for the price.

I've been using Cactus VPN's Smart DNS service for a little over a year. It has opened up a world viewing for me, as well as made me feel more secure when surfing the internet. Any problems that i have had have been solved instantly by their crack service team, who respond quickly and offer solutions and fixes for any problems that you might encounter. I really could not be happier with the service, and really feel that there is value perceived with their incredibly reasonable rates.
